Light refreshments will be served and the evening will end with a door prize drawing for copies of The Art of Confidence. An optional book signing for copies of Across a Green Ocean will take place following the drawing.
A graduate of Stanford University and NYU’s Creative Writing Program, Lee received fellowships from the MacDowell Colony and the Corporation of Yaddo. She spent more than a decade in the publishing industry as an editor at Harper Collins and Lantern Books, where she co-edited the anthology Defiant Daughters: 21 Women on Art, Activism, Animals, and the Sexual Politics of Meat. She has taught English in China, writing at the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, and served as a mentor with Girls Write Now. A second-generation daughter of immigrants from China, Lee resides in Astoria, Queens with her husband and son.
