Coding Class Grades 4-6

The Oakland Public Library is offering a FREE coding class for children grades 4-6. The class will be held every Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 and will last 6 weeks. This class is open to Oakland residents ONLY. PLEASE NOTE: YOU MAY REGISTER YOUR CHILD ONLINE. HOWEVER, A REFUNDABLE $20 DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE YOUR CHILD'S SPACE IN THE CLASS. THIS WILL BE REFUNDED AT THE END OF THE COURSE PROVIDED YOUR CHILD HAS ATTENDED AT LEAST 5/6 SESSIONS. OTHERWISE THE $20 WILL BE RETAINED BY THE LIBRARY.

Laptops are provided for the students and they do not need to bring anything along. The class has 15 seats available and we will keep a waiting list. Please note that if your child misses the first class his or her space will be given to another student and he or she will be removed from the list.
