Do you posses a love for all things food related? Do you enjoy exploring, creating, and sampling recipes? If so come join Food for Thought: A Cookbook Book Club! Each month a different cookbook will be selected for use. The cookbook we will discuss this month is: Stirring up fun with Food: over 115 simple, delicious ways to be creative in the kitchen by Sarah Michelle Gellar. Copies of the book are available at the circulation desk. The library will supply utensils, plates, cups, and a light refreshment.

Here is how cookbook book club works:

  1. Each participant is responsible for making ONE recipe from the selected cookbook. Once a recipe is chosen please contact Gladys Cepeda at (201) 343-4169 ext.14 Or gladys.cepeda@hackensack.bccls.org

  2. In order to participate in cookbook club, a recipe must be brought in to share with the group.

  3. Feel free to bring containers if you would like to take some leftovers home!

  4. Attendance is not mandatory! If a selected cookbook does not appeal to you, feel free to skip that month!
